1. Toddlers need activities that will teach them how to solve problems such as matching game with cards. (Cognitive)

For the physical, language development and social domain, they can play Duck Duck Goose as a game to teach them fine motor skills, language development for naming their friends, and social domain by learning to play with others.
Playing with puppets helps with emotional development in toddlers. They teach the children that the puppets can have emotions such as being happy, friendly, sad or even angry. By playing with puppets it teaches children to learn to control their feelings.

Cognitive Domain:

Children will watch and learn when you are teaching a certain thing and use their brain when we ask questions on the things we talk about.

For example; when showing an art craft we explain the details and each step for the crafts and when they do their craft and get their supplies they memorize the step by step when they want to accomplish their work in craft time.

Free play, which the infant side has right now. Toddlers learn and experience with the toys at work, reading can be beneficial for them to learn and develop with new words too. Really, I think that the age 1 until they turn two should be free play like the way it is. They play all toys and learn to share with each other and not fight over. For 2-3 years it could be cognitive. Get them to think, teach them how to play and how things work. But on the other hand, most children ages 1-3 have ways to develop their toddler stages. All or some children need some help with some things that others their age don’t. Hattie

Toddlers age 1 to 3 years of age needs more activities, such as colouring or drawing, or even learning how to trace letters or numbers like the ones in the photo.. (cognitive development)… we also need more books that has tracing letters and numbers for both (preschoolers and infants), need to get them involve with tracing, write and wipe activity book… toddlers also needs more time singing, dancing, I would love to see toddlers get into circle time too (in their own infant area) so they could learn, to talk more, and get into social development…

what helps with growth in this is cognitive domain, language domain, social domain,

cognitive by colouring/drawing.
Language by singing.
Social by being around friends..

Activities for toddlers ages 1-3, should focus on sensory play. Fine motor skills and creative development.

Examples include messy play with water and/or dough. Building blocks, and simple games like ball toss and hide and seek. Which can also help with language and gross motor skills, Reading books, doing puzzles, and engaging in pretend play also helps with development at this age.

We need more memory games or puzzle pieces for toddlers for them to learn to memorize.

Colours or shapes. Books for learning how to talk or colours.

Learning how to spell or write their names.
