Most students have a little background in WWII from T.V. or video games. However, summer of 1914, a series of events set off an  global conflict that truly was the first modern war with trenches, tanks, and airplanes. WWII is simply a continuation of WWI unresolved tension.

In AP Human Geo I love teaching our Migration unit.
