The students enjoyed the lesson because of the technology involved. Some groups were able to accomplish the task (in lesson 1) a lot faster than the rest because of their coding background. As such, I had to come up with more challenging tasks for them on the spot. Perhaps there could be a list of other suggested activities that we can tap on for such groups?

The class did not manage to complete lessons 2 and 3.

While this lesson had some challenges, it was encouraging to see that some students were able to complete the final task and even support their peers in navigating the droid. Not all students managed to reach the final challenge, but there were still valuable learning moments throughout.

A helpful improvement for future lessons could be providing teachers with a quick reference guide or list of droid commands, especially as not all teachers are fully trained in using the technology. Some students received different iPads than before, which meant they had to revisit the tutorials to get back on track. Additionally, connecting the iPads to the droid took some time. With these factors in mind, it might be worth considering whether the lesson could be extended beyond three sessions to ensure all students have the opportunity to succeed.

As a teacher, I was able to execute the activities planned for this lesson.

The introduction lesson was interesting for students as they were excited for the lesson.

However, as a teacher, I was not too sure to use the application. I was not able to also help the students to troubleshoot some of the application errors. It was more of self-directed learning for my class. Students with a prior knowledge on Droid App came forward to help other classmates.

The challenges activity was quite interesting. The students tried their best to overcome the challenges faced. It will be useful that we as teachers have a copy of the code so that we can show the students and allow them to have some form of successes.
