         <description><![CDATA[<p>For this assignment, you will read a poem by Emily Dickinson and write a Padlet post discussing what you think the poem's theme is. Please use the feedback given to you from the Interpreting Poems Discussion Post (look at the rubric and where you lost points) to help you write this.</p><p><br></p><ol><li><p>Read the poem.</p></li><li><p>Think of a theme. </p></li><li><p>In a post generated by you (press the light brown + button on the bottom right of the screen) explain what you think the theme is.</p></li><li><p>The post must be 5-6 sentences. </p></li><li><p>The post must use at least one piece of evidence. The poem should be cited using the correct MLA format.</p></li><li><p>Remember, you may interpret a poem differently from a peer. As long as you are backing up your thoughts with evidence it is okay to have different thoughts and opinions. </p></li><li><p>Respond to 2 of your peers. The comment should be 3-4 sentences and add to the conversation in some capacity. If you agree, tell them why. If you disagree, tell them why. If this relates to a personal experience, tell us.</p></li></ol>]]></description>
