Performance are for mid and lower primary only.

Q2. We should be working towards the pupil's strength and celebrate their small success with them. Less emphasis on results and grades, more on the improvement made.

Q3. Educate teachers and parents, change their mindsets.

1. Assessment Culture is still based on preparation for high - stakes examinations. It is still based on examinations rather than life - long learning.
1. For teachers - Assessment is about results, fulfilling KPI, meeting targets as well as a reflection of their teaching.
1. For parents - also focused on academic excellence.

2. Assessment AS Learning for Academic and Non - Academic as well. Assessment is a constant learning process throughout and not the end point. Children are excited to showcase their learning and learn skills of understanding their own 'gaps' and closing them.
A combination of excellence and enjoyment.

3. Work on assessment beliefs of teachers, change the structures for assessment.

Q1. Assessment is geared towards PSLE preparation, thus result based. We incorporate formative and summative assessment.
Q2. Holistic, skills and performance based. Not solely provide feedback through paper and pen assessment, but also provide progressive and diagnostic feedback for individual student.
Q3. Shift teachers' current mindset about focusing 100% on academic targets and KPIs etc, to developing students' potential and strength. Focus on students' strengths and talent while working on their AFIs.

1. We have structured assessment plans for each level. We incorporate formative assessment strategies (FA) in teaching and learning. Rubrics is increasingly used to give qualitative feedback (part of FA), to remove the focus on marks / grades / pass / fail.

2. Fewer pen and paper tests would be ideal. Better continuity and coherence in assessment practices through the different levels.

3. More cross-level dialogue / conversations and consolidation in assessment types / practices.

1. Belief: both formative & summative assessment are impt. Moving away from pen and paper tests and into performance tasks (HA). Qualitative feedback given and not confined to just quantitative feedback
Practice: focus is still on summative as there is still emphasis on the BSA marks which forms part of the overall grade at P1-4

2. Assessment for learning and assessment of learning. Assessment should be purposeful in giving feedback to learners to improve learning and not as a form of testing.

3.
