As far as older people being depicted as wise, I agree which is funny to me because later on I agree with the statement that older people have a slightly smaller vocabulary and both of these contradict each other. 
Something that I had to think hard about was whether or not older employees missed more work. I believe that I do practice ageism to a certain extent, because I believe older people are slower and more fragile and that they need to be taken care of eventually. I see older people as playing more of a role in church, teaching, or in smaller simpler tasks that don't involve as much stress on the mind or body. However, I do NOT see older people as a detriment or a waste to our society.
