         <description><![CDATA[<p>Mother Teresa was born on 26 August.</p><p>Her name was: Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu.</p><p>Youngest of three chiildren.</p><p>The Family was Roman Catholic and very religious.</p><p>In 1924 Agnes and her older sister Age started going </p><p>to a secondary school near their home.</p><p>In 1928 Agnes decided that she wanted to become a nun. </p><p>She wanted to be a missionary in India.</p><p>When she left her family, it was the last time she saw Age and her mother.</p><p>Her dad is already dead, and she meet her Brother Lazar again in 1960</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>1 December, 1928 - 6 January, 1929</p><p>That is when she went on a long journey to India&nbsp;in a&nbsp;ship.</p><p>First, she becomes a novice. </p><p>Then she must wait&nbsp;in years before she can become a nun.</p><p>On 23 May, 1929 Agnes became&nbsp;a novice. Every novice </p><p>chooses a new name for herself.</p><p>Agnes choose Teresa, after Saint Teresa of Lisieux in France.</p><p>Saint Teresa had taught that you can serve God by doing the simplest jobs gladly.</p><p>Saint Teresa called this her "Little way".</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Agnes (now Sister Teresa) was sent to the Loreto convent</p><p>in Darjeeling. </p><p>It's a poor area.</p><p>She worked hard both at the school&nbsp; and the hospital.</p><p>On 24 May, 1931 she went back to Calcutta to teach in the school at Entally., a poor part of the city.</p><p>Sister Teresa taught history and geography, she was a good teacher.</p><p>On 24 May, 1937 Sister Teresa could from now of not have any Moneys or prossessions of her own.</p><p>She couldt not get married and she had to obey the Laws of the Roman Catholic Church and the pope.</p><p>She became the headteacher of Saint Mary's School at Entally.&nbsp;</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Sister Teresa lived and worked for almost twenty years in the Loreto Convent in Calcutta.</p><p>In 1930s Mahatma Gandhi was working hard to help the poor people of his coutry in a non-violent way.</p><p>But then World war 2 bagan and Calcutta was bombed by the japanese. </p><p>In 1943 five million people died.</p>]]></description>

Her adress was - 14 Greek Lane.</p><p>Michael and&nbsp; hes Family helped Teresa a lot.</p><p>In 1952 there were 28 Missionary Sisters of Charity living at Mr. Gomes's house. The second floor were very crowded. They needed a new house, but they had very Little Money. </p><p>Father Henry and Father Van Exem helped Mother Teresa to look for a bigger house.</p><p>So&nbsp;54A Lower CircularRoad, Calcutta became&nbsp; the Motherhouse of the Missionary Sisters&nbsp;of Charity</p>]]></description>

The sisters get up and go to the chapel.</p><p>The sisters pray for half&nbsp;an hour. </p><p>Then they have breakfast After that they get ready for the day.´</p><p>If possible they go out into the city.</p><p>They take with them a bottle of water in their bags.          <description><![CDATA[<p>In 1963 Mother Teresa welcomed the first brothers to the Missionaries of Charity.</p><p>Like the sisters, they come from all over the world.</p><p>Brother Andrew was the first. He had been a Jesuits priest he left the Jesuits to help Mother Teresa.</p><p>In 1975 there were a hundred and seventy-five brothers at Work in ten houses in India and two in South Vietnam.</p>]]></description>
