         <description><![CDATA[<div>(La Brede, France 1689 - Paris, France 1755)<br>Montesquieu was a french philosopher who lived in the age of the Enlightment. He is recognized by creatin two of his most famous books, "Persian Letters" and "The Spirit of Law". <br>Montesquieu thought that there were three types of government, on one hand there is the republic that is based on democracy, and in the other hand, the monarchy and despotism, based on absolutism.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>(England  August 29th 1632 - United kingdom October 28th, 1704)<br>John Locke was recognized  as the <em>Father</em> of liberal philosophy. and he became one of the most influential people in England and, perhaps, one of the most influential people of the 17th century.<br> he thought that the purpose of government was to protect the <em>natural rights</em> of its citizens. He said that natural rights were life, liberty and property, and that all people automatically earned these simply by being born.<br><br> Locke wrote and developed the philosophy that there was no legitimate government under the <em>divine right of kings</em> theory.  Locke's writing which most influenced the founding fathers of the United States Constitution was the idea that the power to govern was obtained from the permission of the people.<br><br>  his ideas were incorporated into the Declaration of Independence by Thomas Jefferson.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>( April 27, 1759, in Spitalfields, London – 10 September 1797  (Somers <strong>Town</strong>, London, England) <br>Mary Wollstonecraft was an English writer who advocated for women's equality. She called for the betterment of women's status through such political change as the radical reform of national educational systems. Such change, she concluded, would benefit all society.<br>her most famous work, <em>A Vindication of the Rights of Woman </em>pressed for educational reforms (1792) in the work she states that society breeds "gentle domestic brutes” and that a confined existence makes women frustrated and transforms them into tyrants over their children and servants. The key, she purports, is educational reform, giving women access to the same educational opportunities as men. The ideas in her book were truly revolutionary at the time and caused tremendous controversy.<br><br></div>]]></description>
