In this piece of descriptive writing, I have used the ACP Creating because I like creating new and descriptive sentences which are very fun to read for later on. The ACP Creative helps me with creating new and complex sentences which helps me improve my English. I used similes, personification and pathetic fallacy to develop my sentence in detail.

In this piece of writing I have also used the VAA Hardworking because I wanted to write a detailed description about the moor and applying limited mistakes too.

In Term 2, we worked in groups to make a presentation about who we thought was the most rotten ruler. My group chose Ivan the Terrible. We researched his life, made slides, and put together all the facts we found. I was proud of how well we all worked together and helped each other with ideas and information. It was a bit difficult to decide which facts to include because he did so many things!!

3 things I learned from this topic are:-

? How to research historical figures in more depth
? How to organise facts and make a strong argument
? How to work as a team on a big project.

This links to:
ACP – collaboration and critical thinking
VAA – confidence and perseverance

We had to think about what someone in the future would want to know about our world today. I was proud of the interesting and modern ideas I came up with. The tricky part was choosing what to include, there are so many things to pick from!!

3 things I learned from this topic are:-

?
