      <description>A member of the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, as well as a diplomat of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery, Dr. Carlos Wesley is an experienced surgeon who specializes in follicular unit extraction and follicular unit transplantation as means of surgical hair restoration. He also holds multiple patents involved in development another innovative scarless surgical concept. Dr. Carlos Wesley has been practicing at his New York-based office since 2006. 

In addition to treating both male and female patients, has authored dozens of articles that have appeared in peer-reviewed journals and delivered lectures at conferences worldwide such as the Mount Sinai Advanced Cosmetic Surgery Symposium and World Congress: International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS). 

Dr. Carlos Wesley underwent fellowship training with Dr. Walter Unger through the ISHRS and conducted his residency training at Yale University&#39;s New Haven Hospital. He received his doctor of medicine from Yale School of Medicine, where he earned multiple scholarships and awards, and he holds a bachelor&#39;s degree in molecular biology from Princeton University. Beyond his professional pursuits, Dr. Wesley enjoys tennis, competing in triathlons, and spending time with his wife and infant son.</description>
