It helped me understand the value of time management and the importance of learning independently. I discovered that even without a teacher’s constant guidance, I can still find ways to study effectively, stay focused and dedicated. I also gained knowledge about how simple motors work how electrical energy is converted into mechanical energy through electromagnetism. The flow of electric current creates a magnetic field that interacts with the magnets in the motor, producing continuous motion. This made me appreciate the creativity and intelligence behind such inventions and how scientific concepts like this can contribute to improving human life.

As it turns out, I actually like the face to face learning mode more. With the f2f learning mode, I get to see my supportive and lovable friends and my loving and caring teachers. The ADM also gave me a lot of time to ponder on such things. I realized that Frankenstein and his creator are both monsters, despite the fact that in the book, Frankenstein is the only one regarded as a monster. To me, Frankenstein was a masterpiece, until he came to life. Frankenstein truly became a monster when he slew his creator seeking revenge and/or justice because of abandonment but his creator is a monster too for wanting to create such creature out of various body parts from corpses, by experiment.

No monster is born a monster. They are all made.

Itʼs definitely had its challenges, especially when some concepts were tough to grasp without a teacher right there, but Iʼm so grateful for their dedication—they really went above and beyond to make sure we understood. What really stuck with me in science was diving into Mirror Ray Diagramming—it totally changed how I saw something as simple as a mirror.

10-Proverbs

This whole experience going through the ADM or modular distance learning has been an absolute test of discipline and a gigantic chance for self-growth. With the normal classes, I did not have to be my own teacher but, instead, had to set my own tempo and ensure that I actually knew the subject matter before proceeding. I looked at the mainstream topics and saw the extent to which the world is influenced by science I can now describe. I came to learn a much more profound knowledge of Electricity and Magnetism, which concluded with learning, how an electric motor functions. It's amazing to link that abstract idea to the devices in our daily lives. In the same line, understanding Ray Diagramming enlightened me to the applied science of optics; the bending of light and the creation of images, which is essential for understanding everything from glasses to telescopes. Also beyond the Physical Science concepts, most important was what I learned about myself. The modular format taught me valuable lessons in time management and independence. It taught me that I am capable of being responsible for my studies and achieve even when I study by myself or by my teacher by the use of learning method like Online Class. This entire process has not only enhanced my understanding of electromagnetism and ray diagramming, but it has also encouraged me to face challenges without relying on anyone.

Angelo Cedrick M. Remorosa

10-JEREMIAH

During our ADL/MDL lessons, I learned many interesting things about how electricity and motion are connected through different devices and principles. One of the main topics we discussed was how an electric motor works. I learned that electric motors convert electrical energy into mechanical energy, which is what makes machines move. It was fascinating to understand that this happens because of the interaction between a magnetic field and electric current, creating a force that causes rotation.

We also studied ray diagramming, which helped me understand how light behaves when it passes through lenses and mirrors. By drawing ray diagrams, I learned how images are formed, whether they are real or virtual, and how lenses are used in everyday objects like cameras and eyeglasses. It made me appreciate how physics explains many things we see in real life.

Lastly, learning about the difference between electric motors and generators was really eye-opening. I discovered that while an electric motor converts electricity into motion, a generator does the opposite — it converts motion into electricity. This connection between the two made me realize how important these devices are in our modern world, from powering machines to producing electricity.

Overall, this lesson helped me appreciate science more because I now understand how these systems work together to make technology possible. It taught me that even simple things we use daily have deep scientific principles behind them.

10 - Genesis

The ADM taught me about electric motors and generators—but also helped me become more independent, disciplined, and better at managing my time. Learning at home, I’ve discovered that education extends beyond the classroom, requiring self motivation and resourcefulness, even though there are some challenges because there’s no teacher to guide us in every step of the way—I especially appreciate our teachers effort to provide engaging materials and support, making it possible to learn effectively. Their dedication has shown me that learning can thrive anywhere—as long as there’s a commitment to understanding and a willingness to adapt.

The ADM also taught me about ray diagramming—which help us understand how lenses and mirrors work with light. By drawing lines, I can see how images are made and how lenses and mirrors change what we see. This has helped me think more clearly and solve problems better—especially when understanding how vision works or how optical devices like glasses and cameras function in our daily lives.

I also learned how electric motors and generators convert energy. Motors convert electricity into motion and generators convert motion into electricity. I now understand how magnets, wires, and electricity work together in these devices—which are essential to so many things we use daily. Understanding these concepts helps us appreciate and use technology more effectively.

To sum it all up, the ADM has been a valuable experience. It’s not just about learning facts and figures; it’s about growing as a person. The ADM has helped me become more responsible, resourceful, and ready to tackle challenges, whether they involve science or life in general. What I’ve learned not only broadens my understanding of the world—but also helps me appreciate and understand the technology that powers our everyday lives.

These past few weeks navigating ADM (Alternative Delivery Mode), modular distance learning, and online classes have been a real eye-opener, to say the least. The flexibility of studying at my own pace has been a huge plus, especially with everything else going on at home. But it's also been challenging, trying to stay motivated and disciplined without the structure of a traditional classroom.

One thing that's really stuck with me is learning about ray diagramming. It's fascinating how you can visually trace the path of light to understand how lenses and mirrors work.

And then there's the electric motor. I never really thought about how everyday appliances like fans or blenders actually work. But diving into the principles of electromagnetism and how it's used to create rotational motion has been mind-blowing. It's like seeing the invisible forces that power our world.

What's interesting is how these concepts tie into the ADM setup. With modular learning, I had to rely on diagrams and online resources to grasp these ideas. It pushed me to become more resourceful and visualize things on my own. Online classes helped clarify some of the trickier parts.

Overall, it's been a mix of highs and lows. I appreciate the flexibility and the chance to learn at my own pace. But I also miss the in-person interactions and the hands-on learning experiences. Still, I'm grateful for the opportunity to continue learning.

10-Exodus

During the ADM, even though we are not physically at school I've still learned many things. One of it is the difference between electric motor and electric generator. Electronic motor is a device that turns electrical energy to mechanical energy. It is used in many appliances that we mostly see in our everyday life. Such as electric fan, washing machine, refrigerator, oven, and many more. Electric motor has different parts the armature or coil of wire, commutator, brushes, windings, terminals, and stator magnets. Electric generator on the other hand is a device that converts mechanical energy to electrical energy. It produces electricity from motion. This is usually seen in companies and lately there are also some portable electric generators we can use at home. I've also learned that there are two types of curve mirror the concave and convex. The concave curve mirror appears much bigger and brighter, while the convex also called as diverging mirror has a wider view of an area. Ray Diagramming is a way to determine an image location, size, orientation, and type. There are three parts of ray diagramming the vertex, focus and circle of curvature. The vertex is the point at the center of a mirror. While the focus is where the reflective ray meets.

Manalo, Bienne Marie N.

10 - Exodus

During the Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM), I have learned while studying at home that online classes and modular activities reshaped my understanding of the lessons. Not only the location of our learning shifted; also our responsibilities. Throughout October 14-24, I've learned how to manage my time well by making a time table, and avoiding cramming at all times. To be frank, I don't really like online/modular distance learning since there are online classes in the morning, studying of lectures in the afternoon and doing the activities in the evening. It's really a burden for the students to do all those things. However, this situation helped me on how to be a responsible and a disciplined student. Even though I kept complaining, I still chose to do all the activities for the sake of my grades and my goal. It also challenged my ability on learning independently and patience towards all the tasks that had been given. Despite all these, I still learned a lot from my precious teachers. Every lectures is exciting even if it was taught only through the screen.

I gained a lot of knowledge in every subject, specially in Science. It's so amazing to think that the devices and appliances we use in our everyday lives is related to all these things. From describing the images formed by curved mirror, its parts and qualitative characteristics; constructing ray diagrams, to the electricity we used in our daily life. I've learned that electricity and magnetism are not just science topics, but they are a part of our everyday lives. For example, the ceiling fan that we use in the school, it uses the electricity to make the blades spin. This shows electric motor in action. So basically, the motor make things move. This proves that anywhere we go, science is there. Another thing I've learned is the differences and functions of electric motor and generator, how an electric motor converts electrical energy into mechanical energy, and vise versa for electric generator. Last thing I have learned is the detailed and deeper explanation of electric motors. One thing is the electromagnetism—principle of operation that was discovered by Hans Christian Oersted that electricity can somewhat produce magnetism. Next is the main parts of a simple motor such as a coil, magnet, commutator, brushes, and shaft. Lastly, how it works and the sequence of events in a ceiling fan motor. A silly thing that I wanted to share is how ‘Torque’ always comes into my mind because of how unique the word for me is.

In conclusion, ADM is an unforgettable experience. It taught me how to solve some of my laziness problems in life and how to be an independent person. All the lessons I've learned served as an understanding and gaining more knowledge about the concepts in Science 10 and how these concepts are involved in our daily life.

#timemanagement

10 - Jeremiah

REFLECTION:

During ADM, I learned many new interesting topics such as drawing ray diagrams of plane mirrors, electric motors and generators, and the principle of electromagnetism. I learned that ray diagrams help show how light reflects from a mirror and forms an image. As well as how electric motors and generators work, I understood how electrical energy can be changed into mechanical energy and vice versa. The principle of electromagnetism that produces magnetic field, this taught me how electricity and magnetism work together in many devices we use every day. These topics made me realize how amazing science is and how it explains many things we see and use every day.

But the greatest lesson I learned during this period was being responsible in many aspects. I had a hard time adjusting, especially since learning through ADM and online classes can be very challenging. It was difficult to stay focused without the usual classroom environment, and it felt overwhelming to study on my own. I had to push myself to work harder and pay closer attention during lessons to truly understand the topics. I also learned how important time management is because when I fail to organize my schedule and procrastinate, my tasks will pile up. As our second quarter examination gets closer, I realized that I need to work twice as hard to do well despite these challenges.

I admit me myself and I was my greatest enemy counting my bed, but looking at the task I had crossed out in my planner, it helped me reflect that after all the task being given day by day, I am able to accomplish it completely despite the distractions ahead of me. Some of my struggle was getting up early to attend classes. Being shifted at home, I admit. I had a hard time battle with my alarm going on and off. Kidding aside, despite the snoozed alarms I had clicked over and over, I still manage to attend our classes few minutes before it starts.

Now let's reflect my learnings in Science. Standing in a mirror somehow creates a question in my head, how come it can portrait how I move? The distance where I stand, or why do I look a bit off sometimes? The questions in my head was later answered by the topic of ray diagraming. Where in there are 2 types of mirrors. The concave and the convex mirror. Solving some problems in this topic was quite hectic, you need to look closely with the lines you use in plotting or else you might locate the object in different direction.

Think of an electric motor as a little superhero that turns electricity into action everytime a current flows through its wires, it creates an invisible magnetic force that makes the motor spin seems like a magic, but with the help of science, it ain't magic at all. The reason behind it was electromagnetism. The stronger the magnet or the faster the current, the more powerful the spin. The electric motor takes in electrical energy and turns it into motion making fans spin, cars move, and machines work. Meanwhile, the generator does the complete opposite. It takes motion or mechanical energy and turns it into electricity.

#lovematcha4ever

To begin with, my experience here in Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM) Modality is quite alrighty and good. Ma'am Capiangao's way of teaching is clear and concise. Therefore, i successfully learned about different concepts about the mirrors, motors & generator, and electromagnetism.

As for the mirrors, I learned the different types of mirrors — concave and convex. I also learned the different things to consider whichs is the LOTS (Location, Orientation, Type, Size). Furthermore, I also learned doing the ray diagram and the computation. As for me, it was the hardest lesson and I really had to study it again just to get the lesson. On contrary, the easiest lesson for me was the motors and generators. Concepts are more on descriptive and easy to understand. I learned the difference between the motor and generator, hence, on how each one works. The relation of electromagnetism in this lesson was necessary. As it is one of the reason why the motors work. I learned many more things, but it would be sooo long to specify every each, so I think I have said enough na po about the lessons eheheh.

Though I admit that face-to-face classes are still much better po, the AMD modality somewhat favors me and most of the students. Due to the draining hell weeks that occured, I think this modality is a blessing in disguise. We had an extended time for rest, leisure, and recover, while the learning is still in progress. However, I do not wish for this occurrence to happen furthermore. I hope there would not be any earthquakes or any calamities to occur.

I am looking forward for the return of classes, with new learnings and knowledge that await.

By: Kobayashi, Shealtiel Moiraine

From: 10-Genesis

I have learned that electromagnetism is the backbone for modern-day technology, as observed from the mechanisms around us. From simple electric fans to cool us off in our rooms to power generators, it's clear that society would not have progressed that much without the help and study of electricity. And it wasn't just electromagnetism that I've discovered; I learned about how mirrors work!

Ever since I was younger, I've already been curious as to how my reflection functions as both the exact same and yet not at all. Whenever I stand at a specific distance, my image in the mirror is identical. But when I raise my left hand, it looks like I'm raising my right hand. Performing the fun activities like writing my name backwards and making the bookmark readable when shown in front of a mirror felt like taking control of reality itself... At least what's shown behind the glass. Which isn't reality, but a virtual imitation.

Of course, I wouldn't have been able to understand all of this without the help of our science teacher, Ma'am Khem! Whether it be physical or online, I still found myself immersed in every lesson she taught us. No matter how long the process took or how frustrating the lessons seemed at first, she always did her best to explain it to us like we were back in 1st grade again. And I appreciate that a lot, as someone who is a slow learner. Jokes aside, Ma'am Khem is dedicated to her work, and it shows! Every class is lively, and each student is encouraged to participate; there is no judgement at all, just corrections.

In conclusion, I think this quarter's topics were fun and explained more about the world to me, like I was a toddler finding out it wasn't Santa leaving out gifts for me before Christmas, but my parents. It ruins that magical thrill, but it's logical and indicates the progress of growing up and learning the truth!

#epicgamermoment

I also can't focus on studying because I was distracted and too lazy to do some schoolworks. But realization hits me that if I become too lazy to do some tasks that were given by our teachers, then probably—I will fail this quarter. So I do all the activities and performance tasks so that I have nothing to do during health break, and I will pass this quarter with good grades.

The lessons during online classes are more interesting. My curiosity about how electricity works has already been answered through this lesson. Electric motors are the one that gives energy to the things that need to give a life. In our daily life, it's impossible for everyone to not use electricity.

Even if I didn't open my camera or answer the questions during online class, I was still amazed by the lesson that had been discussed.

Despite how we weren't able to see each other in a physical classroom, Ma'am Khem still delivered the lessons that are important and highlighted what topics we needed to focus on. With that, I not only learned time management, but I also learned various things about the world around me connected to the lessons she had discussed during our online meetings. An example of what I have learned is how the way a simple motor from an electric fan operates. I learned how it processes and how electrical energy converts to mechanical energy with the help of various parts that make up a motor. Another example is how motors power our everyday appliances, demonstrating how well we have adapted to this invention and integrated it into our daily lives, which makes tasks easier and faster.

𝑬𝒃𝒓𝒆𝒐, 𝑨𝒓𝒂𝒃𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒆 𝑽.

𝑿 - 𝑬𝒙𝒐𝒅𝒖𝒔 ♡

Learning through the Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM) has been a meaningful and unforgettable experience for me. It was very different from the usual classroom setting, but it taught me that learning never stops, even when we are not at school. During this time, I learned lessons about Ray Diagramming, Motors and Generators, and How an Electric Motor Works in Science, and these topics helped me appreciate how science plays an important role in our everyday lives.

Among the lessons, I found motors and generators the easiest and most interesting. It amazed me how electricity can be converted into motion and vice versa and how these machines make many of the things we use at home work. I enjoyed connecting the lesson to real-life examples like electric fans and washing machines. On the other hand, ray diagramming was the most challenging part for me. I somehow got confused about how to draw the lines and understand the direction of the rays. There were moments when I had to reread the lesson and search for videos just to understand better. Even though it was challenging, I felt proud every time I made progress on my own.

Studying through ADM was not easy. It required a lot of patience, discipline, and independence. I had to manage my time carefully and make sure I didn’t fall behind on my tasks. There were times when I missed the noise and laughter in the classroom, the group activities, and the instant help from my teachers. But this setup also helped me grow as a student. It taught me how to study on my own, how to stay motivated even when I felt tired, and how to keep trying until I understood each topic.

I deeply appreciate the effort and dedication of our teachers especially Ma'am Khem. Even though we were not in a face-to-face setup, they continued to guide us and make sure we understood the lessons. They would patiently explain difficult parts and encourage us to keep learning. Knowing that our teachers work so hard for us made me even more motivated to do my best. Their dedication truly inspired me to value education more.

I am very eager and hoping for the return of face-to-face classes. I miss learning alongside my classmates as well as hearing explanations directly from my teacher. I believe being back in the classroom will make learning more exciting and interactive, especially now that I’ve learned to be more independent and responsible through ADM. This experience has prepared me to face classroom learning with more appreciation and confidence.

To sum up, my ADM journey has been both challenging and rewarding. It didn’t just teach me about science—it taught me about patience, self-discipline, and appreciation for my teachers’ efforts. I learned that education is not limited by distance or circumstance and what truly matters is our willingness to learn and grow. ADM may have been difficult at times, but it made me stronger, wiser, and more thankful for every opportunity to learn.

A ray diagram is a drawing that shows how light rays travel and reflect to form an image. It helps us understand where the image appears, how big it is, and whether it’s upright or upside down. The other day, I also learned about how electric motor works. I learned that an electric motor converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. When electric current flows through a coil inside the motor, it creates a magnetic field. And this field interacts with magnets in the motor, causing the coil to spin. That spinning motion is mechanical energy, which can move the blades of a fan or rotate a washing machine while a generator does the opposite as it turns mechanical energy into electrical energy.

‎During the ADM, although I can't say im favorable towards it, i still did learn some key points. But first, i would like to share my experience, it was restless; online classes in the morning and activities from noon til night, it was an endless cycle and amidst some possible disasters btw, but i know the same goes for our teachers so nice job po hihi.

‎

‎Okay so ill get to my learningss, first, i learned of course plane mirrors and curved mirrors, i was really excited about curved mirrors which were convex and concave because i have watched the anime, Dr. stone and it teached me lots of science-y terms while i was young, so yes it also cleared up how we look better in mirrors instead of our cameras cus it works differently po diba. Pero maam, if you are reading this po, one question i have is if curved mirror works differently from lenses po? what type do we use for our eyeglasses? thanks pu

‎

‎Okok next, motors and generators, actually, i was sick around these days kaya i was either in class but couldn't listen or hadn't wake up early enough to do so. But of course we had gforms so i had to study it either way, and your recordings helped alot po maam thanksomuch. And i actually saw the mechanism you taught us awhile back on tiktok, and it fascinates me how a small piece of magnet can make alot of things possible, and I LOVE MORE how we can use natural energy to power something, i wish we could do it more often so nice amd healthy Earth.

‎

‎I really loved that lesson, i mean i love every lesson in science cus wowh. But i love it specially cus ive dreamt of building what they call a perpetual motion? Although as i grew up i found out that it was impossible cus we cannot make energy out of nothing, so it was a let down but the generators is lowkey that but just needs a little push so i figured na ill go with thatt. I also thought of something before similar to how motors work, like a little experiment with the poles of magnet, where u make use of their polarity so that when u spin it circularly they push away so it just makes the wheel spin so it can power something.

‎

‎I think thats enough for my random sharing, ill share my actual insights na po 😁😁

‎

‎In general, studying in ADM has taught me the importance of doing works on time, because of how it'll pile up if you dont, but it also taught me that if some tasks cannot be done on the teachers alloted time period, then it's up to the student on how they'll handle it, which i believe teaches us to be adaptable, a hassle but it works.

‎

‎As for in Science, of course we first had again, convex and concave, and as you repeated these words, i just found a trick to remember it much more clearer, where conCAVE curved inward because its a cave !! 😎 And next, the motors and generators which converts electrical to mechanical energy (motors) and mechanical to electrical energy (generators) and how they work with Electromagnetism. Science is very kewl, i love science.

‎

‎goodnight 💖💖

‎

During the ADM or Alternative Delivery Mode, with the help of Ma'am Capiangao, I learned about how light, electricity, and magnetism work. In the first online class in science, I remembered that I learned about ray diagramming. I learned how light reflects on concave mirrors and how to draw diagrams showing where images appear, whether they are big or small, upright or upside down. In the next online class, I learned about electric motor. Wherein a motor changes electrical energy into motion using parts like coils, magnets, and a commutator. With that, motors make a lot things like fans and cars for example to work. And lastly, the online class before the mental health break, I learned about electricity and magnetism. I understood how motors and generators use magnets and coils. Motors turns electricity into motion, while generators make electricity from motion. With these lesson, it helped me understand how energy moves around us every day. But to be honest, this is not the only thing I learned from this ADM. I also learned a lot about how to be responsible in managing my time the hard way. As in the beginning, it wasn't really easy for me. There were times where I struggled so much just to keep up because of the piled-up modules, activities, and performance tasks from different subjects. I felt overwhelmed and stressed just with only thinking of the things I needed to accomplish everyday before the deadline. With that, it lead me to procrastinating even more in doing everything. But since I valued my studies so much, it pushed me and motivated me to finally do my tasks and eventually manage my time wisely. In conclusion, I feel really proud of myself for finishing my modules, activities, and performance tasks despite all the challenges that I've experienced in this ADM.

Xian F. Doblon

10 - Exodus

These past few weeks of MDL made me realize how much better face-to-face classes really is. Although MDL gives students the chance to take rests and study at their own pace, it also makes it easier to procrastinate your tasks because you are in charge of your own time management. I find it hard to stay motivated when there is nothing pressuring me to do the homework, which is probably why I struggle whenever MDL is implemented.

Online classes, on the other hand, are much more convenient since there is an actual teacher helping me learn along with my classmates, instead of just studying all by myself and getting bombarded by ads when watching a video about our topic on YouTube (definitely not a personal experience). Online classes really helped me to actually learn the topic properly. I did run into some problems with online learning which led to me not being able to attend all three of our online classes in science. First, I forget to save my alarm after setting it up the night before. Second, I saved the alarm BUT it was saved as 6PM not 6AM so I didn't wake up in time. Finally, get my alarm right BUT I was too tired and didn't wake up because we went out the other day. I blame my alarm. Just kidding. I understand that some of these are totally my fault. But thankfully, ma'am Khem recorded the google meets and I was able to somehow understand the topic. Ray diagramming took me a while to grasp. I still don't fully understand it, but I am getting the hang of it. The rest of the topics were pretty easy to learn and understand, like the electric motor and generator. In conclusion, I still think face-to-face learning is better. The only reason I complain is because I don't like going outside my house.

In the conduct of our 2-week long ADM, I have learnt a lot in science. However, I also struggled in processing most information in the discussions but in the end I'll somehow have a clear understanding of the lesson. I cannot assure that I've mastered it though. Moreover, I am struggling in applying our lesson in RAY DIAGRAMMING. As i insert the rays upon the diagram, I somehow confuse on its qualitative description. I think this is also the reason why I failed on the quiz of this lesson. But I am reflecting on it and will make sure that I delve into more learning materials to master this lesson before the exams!

In the topic of what I have learned recently, firstly in the first lesson we came across which is the ray diagramming and plane mirror. In this lesson I figured that in applying the diagraming of the rays, I have to make sure to take note of the three significant rays that'll be present in our diagram which is the PF, FP, and CC (yes I recited this from memory so awesome I'm so smart yahoo) Then, applying these rays, I illustrate them in the diagram and take note that on which side of the mirror the lines will meet will be where the TYPE will be identified, Then I'll observe how big is distance between the arrowhead and the principal axis and I'll use that as basis for the Size. Then depending on where the arrowhead is, I'll also know what the orientation will be. Then Location will be common sense, but I got it wrong in the quiz somehow... Similarly, in this lesson I also figured how mirrors are utilized by our technology these days. We use them daily for checking ourselves out, gazing at the sky, lighting up the road, or even in studying science itself! And also in the study of plane mirror i figured that a plane mirror is a shiny, flat, awesome, spectacular, flat surface that reflects!

(˶˃ ᵕ ˂˶)

Onto the next lesson which is Electric Motors & Electromagnetism! In this lesson i just learnt the difference between a motor and generator which we can say that a motor is electric to mechanical. There is a principle behind this magnificent function, and it is what we call electromagnetism wherein current flows through a conductor and produces a magnetic field. And when they interact, they create motion!! ദ്ദി ˉ͈̀꒳ˉ͈́ )✧ Moreover, a simple motor has these parts: Coil, Magnet, Commutator, Brushes, and Shaft. The way it becomes a continues source of energy is because every half turn it reverses hence the reason for it's continues mechanical movement. This only stops when the electricity stops flowing onto the magnets. This simple function is what POWERS our daily lives, science is so AWSOME. Additionally, multiple electrical devices were mentioned in this lesson like appliances or much significant ones like POWER PLANTS. This lesson is much lighter to the heart and mind and soul and sanity than the ray diagramming lesson which is much more difficult to understand when not at school.

Setting aside academic reflections I have come upon on personal reflections are really significant like the ones I figured during the ADM set-up. I figured that i really struggle in self-reliant kind of studying as online classes doesn't feel spiritually engaging enough. ( ꩜ ᯅ ꩜;) Moreover, I also figured new study methods that'll help me in improving in those lesson that I'm really failing to understand completely. But even though i struggled and failed in studying this ADM days, I still feel secured enough as I and my classmates have reliable teachers that we'll soon meet again in November! yay!

By that, I can say that even if we're all separated by the learning set-up. We still feel united by education. Starting from our struggles, our learnings, our roles, and even our humor and personality that never drives away even when we study through online meet-calls. Even if science is not my forte, I still take to the heart that; whatever the condition, we must all go beyond, plus ultra! ദ്ദി(ᵔᗜᵔ)

They made me realize that learning isn’t just about finishing tasks — it’s about discipline, patience, and self-awareness. Studying at home pushed me to take responsibility for my own progress and manage my time wisely. It wasn’t easy; there were days I felt unmotivated or distracted. But through those moments, I learned that growth happens when you stay consistent even without constant guidance. These experiences taught me the importance of focus and independence, which are skills that will matter not only in school but in life.

Being away from the usual classroom setting also made me appreciate connection and interaction more. I understood how valuable it is to learn with others, to ask questions freely, and to exchange ideas face-to-face. At the same time, I learned how to rely on myself to seek understanding, to stay curious, and to find meaning in every lesson even when studying alone.

In Science, I learned about plane mirrors, ray diagramming, electric motors, generators, and electromagnetism. It reminded me that life works in a similar way, just like an electric motor or generator that transforms energy, challenges can also transform us, turning our struggles into strength and our efforts into growth. It’s fascinating how something that seems purely academic can reflect real life, showing that everything has a process, a purpose, and a way of working together.

I learned that electric motors convert electrical energy into mechanical energy through the interaction of magnetic fields and current carrying conductors. This process is what powers and many device we use everyday like fans, tv, refrigerator and even electric vehicles. What i found most interesting was how the principles of electromagnetism are applied in a such particular way. And one key concepts to that for me was the role of the electric motor, each part has a specific function

My familiarity with F2F classes made ADM challenging for me. But I was able to endure it and overcome it because of my determination to study. The greatest challenge I faced in ADM was the constant work and also the constant leaving. I really struggled with working towards and attending the online classes. But I am happy for the teachers who are truly dedicated to their teaching work to bring us new knowledge. Their support and commitment made a significant difference in my learning experience. I learned to adapt my study habits and found new ways to engage with the material, which ultimately helped me succeed in the course.

Now let's move on to the lessons I learned in science. First of all, the plane mirror and the curved mirror, which I was really confused about and had a hard time identifying things about, HAHAHA. I discovered that plane mirrors reflect images without distortion, while curved mirrors can either converge or diverge light, creating different visual effects. This distinction not only clarified my understanding but also sparked my interest in exploring optics further. But with the help of YouTube and online classes, I became more clear and gradually caught up, but it was too late because I had already failed the Gform that ma'am sent me.

Second in the lesson was the motor and generator, which was really easy for me. I know something about these things, so I was able to follow the lesson easily and pass the activities. Ma'am also explained to us well the difference and how they work and what energies are converted to another energy. I found it fascinating to see the practical applications of these concepts in everyday life. Understanding how energy transformation occurs can truly enhance our grasp of technology and its impact on our environment.

I liked the suspension of classes because of the threat of successive earthquakes for our safety. But I had a hard time being an ADM of learning because I was new. But I liked the science lessons, although I had some difficulty learning it and learning with the help of my teacher. I am very grateful to them, and they will continue to provide us with modern knowledge. Their support has made a significant difference in my understanding, and I feel more confident tackling the complexities of the subject. As I continue to engage with the material, I look forward to discovering new concepts and applying them in practical ways.

Balancing different tasks wasn’t easy, especially when distractions were everywhere. I realized that my biggest obstacle was myself my tendency to procrastinate and get easily distracted. However, seeing the progress I made each day and the tasks I managed to complete reminded me that I’m capable of staying disciplined when I set my mind to it.

During the ADM classes, I have learned the importance of spending time with family, balancing tasks, time framing/managing and giving a seen appreciation to my teachers. As a student, it was a hard mode of studying knowing that you can only interact with typing, listening through earphones, submitting tasks through uploading photos and videos and taking tests via links. But, I cannot deny that this long distance type of learning caused by our governor's suspension made made me realize a lot of things. That it is hard to study alone, it is hard to not see an actual example of what you are trying to learn, and that we as students must give importance to our teachers. As I've mentioned family, I also realized that I have been ignorant of my situation as a sister to my siblings, as a granddaughter to my grandma and my responsibility as a daughter. I lacked balance. Nevertheless, I improved some things in our house, I was able to clean, renew and restore. I was able to focus on the things I could not provide time to like bible studies and family. And of course, I was able to see the importance of going to school and interacting with teachers personally knowing that I lack self studying skills.

This ADM classes were a goodbye to old habits, a hello to new ones and a thank you to realizations.

10 - EXODUS

During the ADM classes, i realized that its harder to learn and do activities at home. Because im at home, im easily distracted and im not really focused on what the teacher is teaching. While the teachers that send reading materials, even if i read them, i still have a hard time understanding the lessons. For the activities, i keep thinking that i can do them all last minute, which i cant. I try to do them earlier sometimes but i get distracted easily and just scroll on my phone instead. But during the ADM classes i also got to bond more with my family members and still had a happy experience.

I have learned that an electric motor is an amazing device that changes electrical energy into mechanical energy. It works through the interaction between electricity and magnetism, making objects like fans and appliances move. I realized how important the parts of the motor are, especially the coil, magnet, and commutator, in keeping it spinning continuously. This lesson helped me appreciate how science and technology work together to make our daily lives easier. Understanding how it works made me more curious about how other electrical devices function.

I discovered that electric motors convert electrical energy into mechanical energy, making them essential in many machines and devices we use every day. Understanding the different types of motors — such as DC and AC motors — helped me see how each one functions and where they are best applied.

I also learned about the key components of an electric motor, including the rotor, stator, commutator, and brushes, and how they all work together to produce motion. What stood out to me most was how principles of electromagnetism are applied in real-world machines.

During our time in ADM lessons, I learned that it is important to choose how we want to spend our time wisely. Personally, I found it challenging to get out of bed because it felt like I was being pulled every day. I struggled deeply to find motivation in pursuing my role as a student because procrastination had become a bad habit of mine; every day was like a never-ending cycle, and I admit to having my shortcomings. I realized I had to pick myself up no matter what. Because I'm the one who will benefit anyway, I needed to remind myself of the reason why I'm fighting.

In terms of technicality, I found more about mirrors and how they behave, the convex and concave mirrors; it was a bit tricky for me to understand. I also learned about motors and generators.

I learned how energy could change forms and how a motor converts electrical energy into motion. I also learned about plane mirrors and how it shows how light behaves through reflection. It taught me the importance of perspective and observation. It reminds me of how sometimes , the things we see are not what always as they appear.

Even though the MDL modality was ongoing, I was still able to learn a lot about how electric motor works. I was able to find out it's processes, different examples of it, and how we people use it in our lives every single day. Though I said I was able to learn the lesson, I still found it pretty challenging to understand as I can understand a discussion properly when it is spoken face to face. I would say that the suspension of classes due to the earthquake really affected my learnings about this specific topic.

Hans Christian Ørsted showed that electric currents produce magnetism, and André-Marie Ampère explained how currents can attract or repel one another.

Michael Faraday proved that moving magnets could generate electricity by discovering electromagnetic induction.

James Clerk Maxwell synthesized these ideas to develop equations that connected electricity, magnetism, and light.

Heinrich Hertz later developed electromagnetic waves to prove Maxwell's theory.

I learned from their research that curiosity and science can lead to innovations that make the modern world possible.

Ron Miro L. Mirano

10 - Exodus

During the ADM modality, I learned new lessons in Science such as the lessons about mirrors and electric motors. Apart from this, I struggled with the modular and online class modality due to my lack of time. We went to our province Isabela and there I studied new lessons and I also did my schoolwork. As someone who is used to the F2F modality, I struggled perhaps because of the amount of activities we did in the province while I was adjusting to the new modality.

But as a whole, the governor's decision helps to prepare everyone, especially the youth in Laguna. For me, this is the safer way to teach during times of disaster. Perhaps, many of our students struggled especially with cramming and procrastination but this is still the best way to ensure everyone's safety.

In summary, I learned the importance of everyone's safety, to the extent of sacrificing the time of school days. I also learned to do assigned tasks early because my cramming and procrastination caused deficiencies in my outputs. To change, I will improve in the third grading and make sure to prioritize my studies.
