         <description><![CDATA[<div>The most significant workplace stress issues in the public sector is the requirement to do more or the same level of work with less resources. As this can put people under the pump to deliver programs or policy and result in them becoming quite stressed. This added stress can result in people getting run down and having to take off more sick days. However it also can have a positive impact in that it can help cut back on wasted time. Having tighter deadlines can force people to be more focused on the work that they need to get done, and less chance of them being distracted from getting it done. An example that was discussed was when a program had a large chunk of its funding cut and the lack of information around how this would affect the program or people rolling out the program really stressed people out. </div>]]></description>
