Simba was just a small cub and his father was the king, Simba was born on pride rock which is a comfortable atmosphere for him to get his lion pride. I know his main goal is to become as brave as his father Mufasa so that one day he could succeed him as the king.

Scar pokes Simba’s self beliefs of bravery. He tricks him to go on an adventure, to a forbidden elephant’s graveyard, where he is attacked by a trio of hyenas to be saved by Mufasa.

Refusal of the Call

Simba realizes his mistake and apologizes before Mufasa. This apology is a indication of refusal to the call of portrayal of bravery. He was just trying to be like his father.

Meeting the Mentor

Mufasa is Simba’s mentor. He educates him about the true meaning of bravery. This valuable piece of advice adds to Simba’s brain which will later help him in his quest.

Crossing the Threshold

After Scar kills Mufasa a very emotional sequence takes place. Simba is forced to leave his ordinary world and begin a journey of self discovery. The journey although is physically emotional.

Allies, Trials, and Enemies

Simba meets Timon and Pumbaa who are fellow outcasts and learns their motto of Hakuna Matata living their life without any worries and leaving their past behind them. This goes against Simba’s kingly teachings but he still enjoys it. Maybe because it provides him much needed comfort after the bad times he has been through.

Approach to the Inmost Cave

After Nalah out of no where discovers a grown up Simba. She pushes him to think about his past and his original goals which he seems to have forgotten. Simba realizes all the thoughts at first but he must and does enter his inmost cave where he must confront his fears so that he could come out to a bright morning everyday.

The Supreme Ordeal

Simba sees his father in the skies and when he does it makes him remember the purpose of his life. Because of this emotionally challenging moment Simba allowed himself to drown in his new beliefs and finnally resurfaces to face reality.

Reward

Simba begins his journey back home. But he can’t really go back because he still has to defeat Scar yet. He is on his way to defeat Scar and when he gets there Scar attacks him and he has to kill scar to take back pride rock again. Simba was now king forever.
