In the story Planet Tad by Tim Carvell the characters are believable. They are believable because they live their lives as normal teenagers. For example, these characters go to school and play video games. This reminds me of my friends in 7th grade. This story is a comedy story. I know this because the book uses plain everyday language and funny events happen to the characters in the story. The action in the book takes place mostly at Lakeville Middle School and Tad’s house. I think the author does a good job of making me feel like I’m in the story. The author makes me feel like I’m in the story by giving me details to picture the story in my head.

This book is similar to Diary of a Wimpy Kid. These books are similar because they are about a teenage boy’s life. I would recommend this book to other students because it is about a student’s life and is an interesting book. I found when Tad was trying to master a kickflip on his skateboard interesting. I feel this is something that boys would like to read about. This book is definitely a “thumbs up”. This book is funny, real, and easy to read. I found this book easy to relate too.

Tad is the main character of the book. He shows his moods throughout the story with emojis and words. During the school year he learned how to do a kickflip. His little sister got a hamster for her birthday. I chose these words because these are important parts of the story.

Tad really likes to play video games. He goes to Lakeville Middle School. He gets girls to notice him at school. This story is based off a blog that Tad writes. He breaks a camera that is his friend’s dads.
