If the SWOT is not done in a table then will it count towards the word count ? Also is it better to write the SWOT inside a table or just in paragraphs?

Yes it will count, so if it is in a table or S on one page, W on another etc it will not matter.

When a source has multiple authors do you cite all the authors' names, or just the name of the organisation?

The Authors - but please refer to the Cite them Right Library area where it states how many authors you cite etc. Also on Thursday in our lecture the library representative will be joining us to run through referencing as well.

if i do my assigment on word, but put my Swot in a table on word does that count to the word count?

does the swot also have to be as detailed as the rest of the assignment or is it bullet points of things we have discovered while doing research?

You SWOT in a table or not in a table is still counted in the word count. Bullet Points, but Bullet Points with some details. Refer to examples we have shown you in the seminars.

When referencing a source from Statista, do you cite the source it has come from (eg. Kantar) or Statista?

If Kantar is the author then yes, but if not the author then no just Statista.

If a source does not include a publish date or author can you still use it? if so how do you in text reference it?

It will depend on the source - is it being accessed via the MMU Library database? Sometimes there are exceptions to this rule - but yes instead of the author you put the soure e.g. Drapers (nodate).

For the KPI section, if our brand is private what would we do with the financial side of the KPI's due to there not being any financials to show the objective being reached?

There is financials for all retailers - it is the law even when private. Review the lecture when we discussed financials, it states there to try Government House.

Does every business on the list have information about their business structure? as I cant seem to find any information from credible sources about the business's structures from lululemon or sweaty betty. Should I consider choosing another business where I can find this information more easily? As I am cautious I will get to that part of the assignment and have no information on the business structure.

Yes, they do, you may need to read a number of articles to establish what the business structure is, but it is there for both Lululemon and Sweaty Betty.

Please at this late stage do not choose another brand, the information is there is you look for it. Lululemon have a whole section on their board of directors: Board of Directors | lululemon for Sweaty Betty - Sweaty Betty and Hush Puppies owner appoints chairman (drapersonline.com)

Yes if relevant - e.g. if your brand has a large social media presence and that is the way they communicate with this customer and therefore, this is a Key Performance Indicator to the brand then yes, but if you are just staying they communicate to their customer via social media then no.

Yes you are able to use Canva and when you upload to the Moodle pages to submit your assigment it needs to be in PDF format. All assignment submissions no matter what format need to be uploaded as a PDF.

Is stockholder return YOY a relevant financial aspect to include, if so how do we know if it is a 'good' return or not.

Please refer back to the recording/PowerPoint of the financial lecture and seminar - we are asking you to review the past 3 years of your companies financials, how they increased or decreased Year On Year (YOY) for example in their revenue? If increased done well, if decreased not so well etc and explain why.

What could be said about a company's stock price, is this influenced by if they have had previous successful financial years?

If a stock price has increased, then the business is doing well, try and review this against the companies financials for the last three years and show how they corrolate.

Yes, please refer to Unit Hand Book which does state you can go 10% under and over.
