I was editing fill in notes for Factor of Production for my 12th grade Special Class Economics class. I made the text larger so it's easier to read whether its on paper or on a screen. I made sure to use bullets and numbers to keep the notes organized. I changed one sentence that had a blank in it to a question so I could eliminate the use of blank lines. I removed a box that was there for the list area to make it more keyboard usable.

This resource is a google slides activity on light waves that I use with my SC Science 7 class. They like it b/c it's engaging, has good color contrast, but the only way to manipulate the slides is to use a mouse, mouse pad or a touch screen to drag and drop the boxes. This resource works with google read and write. I don't know if it works with other assistive technology b/c it's a google product. I hope it does, however. I give this resource a score of 12, which means it has good accessibility. I copied and pasted the URL - I hope it works.

I worked on fine tuning a Hyperdoc which is a media based assignment that students use to build background. I would apply the POUR principles to it to make improvements. I want my students to be exposed to different multi-media but I also can see where it can be overwhelming. For this assignment, I did use it to show students read aloud features for longer articles. I would work on the contrast moving forward to see if it makes a difference for some of my students.

I modified this behavior chart to make it more perceivable- bigger and bolder so my Legally Blind student has a better chance of seeing the words without her Vizio. Her Vizio makes instantly enlarging her assignments also very helpful. I used clear, simple, language and specific visuals of her expectations and rewards to help her comprehension of them. I made the font bold and the graphics large so that she had the best chance of seeing them with just her glasses and without having to use her Vizio. Making this chart the most visible to her increases the chances that she is aware of her expectations and rewards, to increase her investment int he program.
