The world is less wonderful and bright without Geary in it. My family, Tiffany, and I are deeply sorry for your family’s loss.  Such a loss isn’t fair, and sometimes it seems bad things happen only to good people. 

 

I did Texas 4000 in memory of someone my family lost to cancer and Mr. Voots, ever supportive and who biked himself (and certainly biked more than me at the time) was one of the first people to encourage me and generously donate to cancer research in support of the cause. Growing up in Austin I would see him riding around town and this photo was one of those instances of us running into one another during a ride (he was the one biking, again, he biked more than me despite the Alaska thing). Every time I get back on the bike I’ll be thinking of and riding for him. 

 

My words cannot do his memory justice, but wanted to share a small memory I had of him in remembrance.
