As seen in the picture, culture includes food, specific celebrations, language, clothes, and much more. It is important to acknowledge every culture in a classroom because every student has a different cultural background. We want the students to feel safe and comfortable in a classroom setting where all the cultures are acknowledged. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>When a student tries to participate in class, and the teacher keeps ignoring their questions and answers, students start to develop a feeling of not being wanted in a class. It is important for teachers to acknowledge every students engagement to the classroom. It not only helps the teacher know where the student is at, but it also creates a healthy learning environment between the teacher and the students. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I believe that one of the key factors in education is caring. If teachers show their students that they do not care, or they do not show interest in getting to know their students, then the students will sense it. This can cause students to feel "invisible" as Edmin mentioned, but students won't feel as comfortable in their classroom setting (Edmin, 2016, pg. 37). I believe it is important for teachers to show we care, and let our students to know we are interested in who they are.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
