Target Learners: Transition Year Students
Learning Design Approach:
Timing: Two hour blended session

Learning outcomes:
At the end of the session, students will be able to:
1. Explain why health and safety and personal hygiene is important when it comes to food.
2. Recommend ways to prevent accidents in the kitchen and evaluate consequences of poor health and safety 
3. In groups of 3/4 students will put together a mind map on an A1 sheet, what they feel are the main dangers in the kitchen and ways to prevent accidents in the kitchen, they will do this for 10 minutes. Each group will discuss their points with the rest of the class.
