Before starting the conversation I was very nervous, because it was my first time talking to a native English speaker, but when the call started I quickly managed to start a dialogue and my partner was very receptive and interacted with me in a great way, in the photos we show a for the other, some common interests and with 2 more interactions I have the possibility of making a new friend and I am very grateful and happy for this unique opportunity for growth and knowledge.

Second day of experience

The second day of expthe second day was very productive and I managed to talk about some topics that are circulating a lot on their social networks. I found his vision of Brazilian culture through the paintings he brought very relevant. Talking to Sean Semper is very interesting and productive, but both he and I were a little sleepy today. The last day of the experience was very rich in exchange. my partner, despite not using social media a lot, because he spends a lot of his time playing sports and at university We managed to talk about two of the most popular social networks in the United States and two popular in Brazil. For me, it was gratifying to be able to formulate sentences in English to explain beyond the script I had written before; the teletandem expanded my perspective and my expectations regarding the use of the English language in the world. I hope to meet Sean someday in New Jersey or Brazil.
