So her art teacher said "Make a mark and see it where it takes you." Vashti made a small black dot and " THERE!" Then the teacher said "Sign it." Then Vashti said "I can write my name but I just can't draw!" 

At the end Vashti said "I can draw." All of her dots were in the school art show an then a little boy said "I wish I can draw like you but I just can't." Vashti said "Make a mark and see where it takes you." So he made his mark an then Vashti said "Sign it." When he singed it Vashti studied it and said "Good job!" She changed because her teacher put her dot on the wall and believed in Vashti so Vashti tried to paint all kind of dots and when she saw them she knew she could paint and did what her  teacher did for the little boy.

book there was an art show and a little boy said I love your drawings I can't draw anything but now that Vashti persevered she wanted the little boy to preserve like she did and he did why did she change because she wanted to prove that she could do better than she did at first.
