It was my first time traveling by plane, and it was a fantastic experience. When we arrived, someone from the agency was already waiting for us and took us to the hotel. In the afternoon, the tour guide picked us up for our first tour around the city of Tarapoto. We went up a mountain to enjoy the panoramic view, then we came down and were taken on a short night walk through the jungle, where we saw many exotic animals.

The next day, we visited the Castle of Lamas, which has a wonderful history. Later, we were taken to see several waterfalls, and we also ate tacacho con cecina. They encouraged us to try suri.

It was an incredible adventure, and I would love to go back.
