Summary of "The Mirror of Matsuyama"

The Mirror of Matsuyama is a Japanese fairy tale about a man, his wife and his beautiful daughter. While returning back from his work, he brings a doll and cakes for his daughter and brings a metal mirror for his wife. The wife looks at the mirror often and decides to enjoy the beauty of others. The daughter grows up to look exactly like her mother. Eventually, the mother dies and advised her daughter to take care of her father and take a look in the mirror whenever she feels alone. Later, the stepmother sees the daughter doing some witchcraft thinking that she would trying to kill her. The father knowing this, shouts at her daughter and later comes to know about the truth of gazing mirror. Then both the father and the stepmother apologize for their mistake. At the end the daughter departs away.
