Although listed on IMDb as a comedy, I didn't feel this was particularly funny. Still, this coming of age debut from this British comedian is well worth a watch, as it is both saddening and heart warming, with some gorgeous cinematography.

This film has gained so many positive reviews, but I was left feeling so underwhelmed. Jake Gyllenhaal gives a stellar and disturbing performance, but the film as a whole was dull with only a view exciting moments. The soundtrack didn't seem to fit the general vibe and I personally don't believe this film deserves as much praise as it gets.
