She was crazy to lead a witch hunt and was conniving and evil. She loved Proctor and tried to get rid of Goody Proctor so she could have him to herself. She really didn't do much. She served slightly less relevance in the play. She was still a slave. She confessed that the devil was telling her that Parris was a witch. She only did so to protect herself. She ended up leaving in the play but she was in jail most of the time.

He was a stupid old man that accidentally incriminated his own wife. He meant well and was pressed by stones both in real life and in the play.

Giles' role in the play was as comedic relief. He was simply an idiot that had a relatively small role in the play. He was a loud man that didn't know how to act properly in court. He broke tension consistently and stopped the audience from unnecessary grief.

He ruled to punish witches even though he did not believe in them. He increased hysteria more than anyone else. He executed many people to protect the good name of the court.

He was the judge that saw over every case in the Crucible. He sided with Abigail in order to protect the good name of the court. The court was his only priority and he almost strictly used quick and harsh judgements almost exclusively with rulings of contempt of court. Court was backed by God and therefore was always right.
