2. Map Selection 
The team that wins the coin flip can decide if they want to be Team A or Team B. The teams will alternate picking until one map is left, then the remaining map is the one to be played
Team A picks offense or defense.
For the final BO3 game, the same happens with the already played maps removed from the map pool.

3. Game Settings 
  • Lobby: Custom (closed)
  • Mode: Standard
  • Allow Cheats: Off
  • Tournament Mode: On
  • Overtime Win by Two: On

4. Bug and glitch abuse
If it is discovered that a player intentionally abuses a bug or a glitch to gain a competitive advantage, they and their team will receive a warning. If a repeated offense occurs, that team forfeits the round, then they are disqualified if the offense is repeated again. 

5. Sportsmanship
Show respect to everyone involved in the tournament. While T-bagging and taunting are allowed, cursing and trash-talking during the tournament proper are prohibited. Violation will result in a warning. If a repeated offense occurs, that team forfeits the round, then they are disqualified if the offense is repeated again. Offenses are up to the discretion of the moderator.

6. Pauses
  • 2 technical pauses of 5 minutes each will be granted per team per game (disconnection, game problems, crashing, equipment issues, etc.)
  • 2 tactical pauses of 2 minutes each will be granted per team per game (discussion or meeting)
  • Teams can request for a pause with a reason at the end of any round

All matches will use a best of one format except for the finals, which will use a best of three format. Each team needs a minimum of 5 players with an optional 1 substitute player. Player substitutions may be done between maps. 

Only teams from the Philippines are allowed, and only Singapore, Hong Kong, and Tokyo servers are allowed. 

We will use our Discord server to communicate before and during the round. Each player, along with a moderator should be present in a team call during a game. The main game mode, Search and Destroy, is very similar to CS:GO. The attacking team’s goal is to plant a bomb (called a spike) and have it detonate, while the defending team tries to avoid that. Regardless of whether the spike is planted or not, if a squad is wiped out before any other victory condition is met, the opposing squad will win.

Matches are 25 rounds long, with each round lasting 100 seconds. The first team to win 13 rounds wins the match overall. It sounds just like CS:GO’s Defuse game mode, but Riot has a twist on the formula. In addition to buying weapons, you’ll also choose an Agent at the beginning of each round. Each Agent has an ability, ranging from healing allies to making walls appear out of nowhere. Considering Valorant takes a MOBA-based approach to Agents, you’ll likely need a good spread of abilities if you want to win a match.
