The coyote then opens a bag full of people which is then when humans were created. Everything in this story happened for a purpose such as the coyote accidentally releasing humans or the bear that was made to be a leader.

Hutash created people through magic seeds and put them on land. The Milkey Way then gave a gift to the Chumash to cook food, fire. Hutash then tried to move the people to other land by guiding them with a rainbow but that was unsuccessful so Hutash turned the people into dolphins which is why dolphins are considered to be our brothers.
