Hitler was one of Germany's most durable leaders. He had led the National Socialist (Nazi) Party from 1920-1921, and was recognized as Fuhrer. He was chancellor since January 30, 1933. In 1919, Hitler had attended his first meeting of the German Workers' Party, which was an anti-Semitic, nationalist group that he agreed with Anton Drexler to join. However, he disagreed with how they were organized for him to make a speech. By the start of 1925, the Nazi Party ban was removed, and Hitler, once again, had permission to do public speech.

Edith Nourse Rogers of Massachusetts has introduced a bill for the creation of the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps, a non-combat organization meant to take over jobs that would allow for more men to serve in overseas combat roles.
