It is nice to get your email I haven`t heard anything about you since 2010. Sorry to hear about your illness. It is good that you get better now.  
About me - In general I`m fine, thx. I have been working for a small, good company in Russia since 2012. Since we haven`t seen each other I have been married and got a daughter. I love my family. Last summer I came to the village to my parents and enjoyed the silence and nature there)). My dad and I arranged a barbeque, had a great talking about different topics and I liked that time. In the winter I spent great time to skiing and went to for the local slopes in Moscow region. They are quite small if compare with mountain`s but enough to enjoy environment and company of close friends.
I'm glad to hear that you are going to Moscow and I would be happy to meet you. About Hotel - I would recommend you to rent an apartment on the edge of the city. I've recently heard someone giving positive reviews. I will send few links for your attention to look at them.
It costs about 2500-3000 Rub but located in suitable place of the city coz there is the underground station near. You can reach different places of the city from there. And it is also not so far from Khimki where I live.
Of course I meet with you and show some of the famous places so don`t hesitate to let me know what day and time more suitable for u. But pls inform me beforehand when you arrive I will meet you at the airport.

I’ve just finally got a letter from you. Glad to hear that you’re feeling better and now you can go through your emails. Hope you get well soon and prepare for your classes.

What about me? I’m doing well. I’ve had a big pain in my knee, so I went to a doctor. He prescribed me  a physical therapy. Since then I’ve been undergoing  all the procedures, and now I'm feeling much better.
 I've been working in a big company that produces weapons since febrary. However, I’m still looking for an opportunity to find another job in the field of aviation. I recall, that I’ve heard about your brother Ian from your friend. It’s cool to hear that he enjoys what he does. And my family is good. Mom and Dad retired a few years ago, so for now they just enjoy life. They’ve decided to get a dog.

Are you going to come in Moscow? That’s great news! I’ve got a lot of cheap options to find a hotel in the center, so I can show you some beautiful and interesting places. Just text me or write an email before you arrive.

I am pretty well. We have been doing refurbishment at our flat since last week. So a lot of things to do. Also I have great news – Liza is pregnant! My family is happy with this news! 

Ohh, it’s great that you are coming! Of course I will assist you with a hotel. Please inform me about  your address where conference takes place. Also please write me approximate sum that you are ready/prepared/willing to spend per night!

And of course I will take some days off to spend it with you and show you our town. Also I think we will be able to visit my parents in their house – I want to show you their place!

Please tell me – will you come by train or plane? And what time and where are you arriving ! I will be able to pick you up with my car.
