Colvin was a student at the Montgomery school. He always went by bus because his parents didn't have a car. One day, the bus driver ordered the seat to be cleared for the white person but Colvin refused to get up. The policemen arrested her. Colvin worked for the school newspaper and wrote about what happened to her. During Annie's trial, a classmate testified that it was a right not to get up.
I like this story because it talks about rights and freedom.
