This is one of my favorite youtube videos and I have watched it several times. It's easy for me to either forget or take for granted what Christ did for me on the cross. This video not only has some good emotional music in the background, but it also clearly states the Gospel in a short and succinct way. I recommend that if you every have trouble sharing the Gospel with somebody you can always share this video with him or her.

My New Family!

This is a picture of my new family. I got married last year and this is a picture of my family and Miss Patty's family. Family is very important to me and this photo not only represents Miss Patty and my's marriage, but also the union of both our families. My parents have never been to El Salvador, but they loved visiting this country and meeting all my friends and Miss Patty's family.

This is one of my favorite quotes and I'm sure I've shared it with you before. I paraphrased it a little, but I first heard it in a sermon from a pastor in Texas. It is meaningful to me because I can get easily frustrated by unmet expectations. As a teacher I have seen how upset my students can get by unclear expectations. I think communication is a vital skill and something I value greatly.

All of the prom and my closest friends know that this song is my favorite song of all time. One of the most important and unique people that was in my life dedicated this song to me. She was leaving to France and the night before her flight we were looking at the stars. This song came on and she told that this wasn’t the last time we were going to be Together. This song has two versions but the Spanish one is the best one if you want to listen the other version it is called baby I won’t. This is definitely my favorite quote, mainly because my girlfriend is leaving El Salvador to go and study in Spain, so that her dreams may come true. And I will support her in everything and be there for her at any time, even though I will not see her until December.

Ape Escape

I remember this was my favorite game when I was around 7 years old. I spent hours and hours playing it with my cousin at my grandma's house with churritos and Tang on the side. Ape Escape reminds me how happy and carefree that time used to be. It is sad that one day we turned off that playstation, and we never played together again. (Daniella Portillo #12)

There is a poem written by the Argentinian author Julio Cortázar. The poem is originally named “me caigo y me levanto”, and touches the theme of “relapsing” into many things like sickness or even into nothing. It is filled with paradoxical statements and a lot of metaphors and similes. I really like this video of the same author reading through the poem. There is this subtle music on the background, and his accent is a mixture of Argentinian Spanish and French. The reason why I put this necklace is because of the meaning it has for me. This necklace was given to me by my parents when I was born. It have the shape of a heart because it represents the love of my parents towards me (probably in the photo the figure does not look very well). So far I use this necklace whenever I can. I love knowing that material things are not what fill us because is the meaning they have for us.

This is one of my favorite quotes. I love it not only because is from my favorite author Isabel Allende,but because its message is really beautiful. This quote and two of her books really helped me understand a lot about myself and what I want to be.It teaches me that even if I feel weak or mistreated, I still can overcome everything life puts in my plate.

The word "reckless" means: "thoughtless, careless or hasty". This word may sound harsh or rude, but in this song represents that the love of God has no limits. It really touches my heart, because even though we fail and most of the time we disobey God, He is still loooking for us. Even if we try to hide from Him or sometimes we make an effort to get away from Him, He is willing to help us in any circumstance and his kindness is there for us. His love impresses me because we dont deserve it. He is tenacious about having us closer to Him.

This might not be something super inspirational, but it surely defined me from a very young age. The game I posted is just a representation of all games in general. Games really defined my personality and my relationships with other people. And when I say it defined me, I mean it. For example, even my liking for math related stuff is from there. I remember telling my mom I wanted to make videogames and she telling me I need to study hard and know a lot of math to achieve it. It might look superficial or meainingless, but it truly marked my life.
(The game is one of my favorite ones, that is why I chose it.)

My sister, Andrea, is the person I most love in my life. Since she came into our family two years ago, she has not stop making everyone at home extremely happy. She is always playing around or sleeping, and I enjoy the time I spend with her. Taking care of her is always a pleasure for me, and I'll surely watch after her happily for my entire life.

This song is very meaningful to me because it actually reminds me of the powerful God I have. I have heard this song more than a hundred times probably and I can say that this is one of my top favorite worship songs. This past summer I went through a lot and this song was my rock everytime I felt dismayed. For me worshipping is my favorite thing to do when I feel alone and lost because talking to him brightens up everything in my life. This song brings me good and bad memories but at the end , like the song says he is a miracle worker and everything he does is part of his perfect plan for us.

Honestly, I don't know who is the author of this quote, but it sounded interesting for me. I think this quote is important because it shows how people focus on the mistakes of others and not in theirs. We all make mistakes and we have no right to judge each other. Some people like to criticize others, but they don't like to see their real reflection in the mirror.

The name of my dog is Sacha . Is meaninful to me because is always with me when I feel good or bad and always will make me smile no matter what is my mood at that moment. This will sound rare but sometimes when I have a problem and I need to talk about it I do it with my dog because I know that my secret will never go out and is safe with she. The last thing that makes my pet meaninful is that she is with me since baby so I watched how she grows and a I feel a very strong relationship because of that.

Wall separating worlds

I took this picture in my last summer trip to Los Ángeles, I stayed there for 1 month. One weekend with my cousins who just got married we decided to go to Rosarito , a famous beach located in Mexico which is only about 3 hours from LA. We were crossing the border and as you can see in this picture, we can appreciate that famous wall that separates two different worlds. This picture is meaningful to me because as we passed this wall you can see clothes, shoes, and food all over in the floor. This huge wall has thousands of stories about people trying to have a new faith in life, killing themselves working for a better life.

This is my dog and his name is Terry. We named him like this because when he was a baby he was extremely terrible. He is meaningful to me because he is a dog that at the beginning I didn´t like him too much, but with time a began to love him. Terry is really fat and funny, yet all the people is scared of him. He is like a little bear that cries when I´m arriving home and says goodbye when I leave. I feel a really strong connection between us and I love him as he loves me.

My cat
The name of my cat is luz.My mom rescue her like 4 years ago in a market,at the beginning she was kind of ugly but now she is beautiful.Luz is really meaningful for me because she demostrated that you can change not only your apearence but also your actitude and she did change two times.One day she escape and we didnt found her until like 3 days later my mom saw a picture of a cat in facebook and it was luz so again we rescue her and now she is more obedient and doesnt escape anymore.She means a lot for me and I really love her because even do she has pased a lot of bad things luz is happy.

This quote is inspiring and fascinating. Is meaningful to me beacuse it reminds me that there is hope in every problem. It has helped me to deal with problems when I feel that I'm in the storm and I understand that it has to end. Makes me to keep in mind that no matter how hard life can get, I have to stay positive.
