Katniss Everdeen is a really innovative and creative person. In the Hunger Games, she has to face all the other contestants. She wasn't as strong as all of them, but she was smarter than them. She finds innovative ways to utilize her supplies in order for survival.

Leonardo Da Vinci is the man of innovation. He was part of the Renaissance, the cultural rebirth of Europe. During this period, he brought in new ideas through various categories: science, math, art, etc. He helped change the world. 

This quote represents innovation as a key to a new and better world and a better future. Innovation will help get rid of critical problems in our current day life: poverty, world hunger, wars, pollution, etc.

In this painting, the paint brush represents innovation. The road represents the path to a better place. The man represents all of mankind. Without the paintbrush there is no road. So, without innovation there would be no path to a better world, and  mankind would die off in the darkness. Therefore, we must keep innovation alive in order for our survival in a better world.

This poem describes exactly how innovation works. It tells  us to open our minds to new things and to twist them around to make them our own. With all of these ideas, who knows what we could do. There would be limitless possibilities. Innovation helps us come up with new ideas to solve problems. Without it we would still have problems like slavery, discrimination, etc.

Our ability to imagine is a beautiful thing.

Michael Vey is a book series which turns the impossible into possible. In this series Michael Vey, a 12 year old, finds that he has odd powers. These powers come from the mysterious organization called the Elgen. The Elgen's goal is to take over the world, and they are going to accomplish this by electricity. Through many experiments they have found a way to convert rats into electricity. This innovative idea went through many failures along the way, but as a reward for their perseverance, they finally reached their goal.

This article is showing how even the weirdest ideas somehow find their way to reality. An invisibility cloak was just a fantasy until someone researched about it and actually tried to make it. Innovation is when one thinks of new creative ides. These ideas are often deemed impossible, but if you really believe in them, anything is possible.

I like this picture because it clearly represents my personal interpretation of innovation. This light bulb represents an innovation or change to the world. Since the filament fuels a light bulb, in this picture ideas power innovation.

This video is an excellent representation of ideas. Imagine all the light bulbs as people, and they all have ideas. All of these ideas are the same, none of them are unique. None of them have an original idea. There is one person, who after thinking a lot, decides to do something unique. Even if the yellow light bulb took a longer time to light up, it came up with an idea that it can call it’s own. After time goes on, all the other light bulbs turned back to black. This means that all of the generic ideas will eventually fail. We need an innovative idea to change the world.

This Ted Talk is about how an average group of kids discover a solution to two global problems. They used an everyday material to solve the problem of pollution. They turned Styrofoam into activated carbon, a natural material that filters water.This way, Styrofoam won't find its way into and the ocean, and pollute the environment. Also, when the activated carbon is put into use,it will purify water, reducing poverty in many areas.It's amazing how a group of kids and some creativity can go so far. This proves innovation can be found anywhere. Therefore, anyone has the power to change the world.
