I think change makes the world a better place, as there is always a negative in the world that need changing. Also, if you had the same lifestyle all the time without any change in society or personal lives, life would be tedious and negative problems would then increase. This would also call for change. As you can see, everything leads to having change as the world would never be perfect and there will always be negative aspects in the world that need changing. For example, climate change is a global issue that MOST people agree needs changing on how our mindset is about it: we should stop taking climate change as a small issue and take it seriously and take major actions to stop it.

No. There may be many good things about the current "normal" but decisions should be made based on what is right, rather than society's bias opinions. If you have a good reason to fit in (for example if you don't make any friends your parents will take away your screen-time) then it may be good to fit in, but animals will always be your friends and not care. To conclude, it is not important to be "normal", what matters is what you decide to do with your differences. Society's opinion of "normal" is often just what is left when you hide your personality away- if you decided to be who you are you would find that everyone is different and the "normal" category would be empty. I can also add that it is not normal to be a millionaire but many people think being a millionaire is great. This example is a lot about luck and not so much about personal differences and fitting in, but it is just an example.

If the world is like how it is right now, and nothing is being changed, things will only get worse. Change sets the base of our world and community because we develop and evolve our ideas and ourselves. For example, in the Greatest Showman, people don't accept Barnum's circus, because they have never seen people who look like them.

Individualism is extremely positive because people should be able to freely discuss their beliefs and religions without being harassed or attacked by others. Some cultures are mocked and attacked, which causes them to lose confidence because they are afraid that they might be ambushed if they voice their opinions. However, this is not right since people have a right to voice their opinions. They might not agree with you but you must be respectful and not attack them since they have a right to be their own person with their own beliefs.

Being inspired shows motivation, and when people are motivated to do something, they are more likely to succeed. This is shown in examples of the Greatest Showman as Barnum was motivated and inspired to create his own circus and be better than who he used to be (shown in a Million Dreams, he keeps on singing about 'the world').

Yes, I think people should come before progress and profit. If we had a lot of money and no people to spend it or sell their work then the profit would be useless. Obviously this is very unlikely to happen but my point is that we work for profit and progress because it benefits us, and we are people. Also, many people are not cared for and to start doing so would be very progressive. I believe that people have become wound up in profit and progress and if they remembered that what they want are the benefits rather than things that should bring them it would be better for everyone.

Individualism is a negative attribute as if you don't pay attention to what is happening around you, you will never develop the skill of empathy, compassion and cooperation. To go forward in this world, you need to work with others and let other people have a say. Democracy wouldn't be a thing if the world thought individualism was the right mindset to have. We would have no leader as we work by our own beliefs and the world would be thrown in to chaos if there was no one to guide you. There is a reason why people say be the last to speak. You should listen to everyone's opinions and then only express your thoughts with everyone's opinions in mind.

Yes, individualism is positive because it encourages you to be independent and speak for yourself. It's important for each individual to voice their own thoughts because what they believe can make a great impact on the community. Just because someone is different and unique doesn't mean they aren't capable of doing great things. Being different opens up different opportunities too. For example, the circus stars in the Greatest Showman were all seen as different. But for them, being unique gave them a chance to show the world what they can really do. From this we can see that individualism is positive because it opens up your opportunities and can make a big difference in the world.

The personality itself is the most important factor, and to some degree will make more variation in one's lifestyle.

Without change, many of the everyday items we use would not exist.
Change for the better shows us new opportunities, and change for the worst teaches us about our mistakes and gives us problem solving skills.
Change gives people different perspectives, such as Mr Barnum's circus; P.T.

I believe individuality is positive because everyone is different in their own unique way, and without the value of individuality the world would be dull and unpleasant. Individualism allows people to be unique and special without thinking they're exactly the same as others. it also gives people their own voice, opinions and perspectives. Individuality is the reason we have our own interests, thus making it positive. In the Greatest Showman everyone in the Circus has their own special and unique ability, and that's what makes them.

Progress and profit are more important than people. To progress and profit you need to sacrifice things, that may be other people's welfare and health. On the surface this looks bad but when we dig deeper, we often see that we have to sacrifice things for the greater good. For example in World War 2, the Allies didn't have to time and effort to protect every soldier or civilian. However they helped as much as they could to an extent. As a result they won the war and the lives of much more civilians were not compromised. If we put people first we sacrifice the chance to progress the world and make it a better place.

This is what I mean by individualism:
"The moral stance, political philosophy, or social outlook that promotes independence and self-reliance of individual people, while opposing the interference with each person's choices by society, the state, or any other group or institution." -The Oxford Dictionary

Yes. Individualism is a positive. While it is important to act as a team (humans have evolved to be social creatures) you should stand by what you believe. Think about it- everyone should have the right to vote, and some people on the earth are pretty horrible. They are still entitled to the right to have opinions just because they are human. Sometimes you need to question people's beliefs otherwise you will never have a new perspective or make change. No matter what you think, you can't see inside people's heads and should trust yourself. That isn't saying people can't be incorrect- but if, after thinking hard about something, you decide that something is wrong, you shouldn't be afraid to stand up for that. As long as your actions do not harm others, it is important not to let others' opinions change what you believe.
