It also shows their goals for their future.<br><br></div><div><br></div><div>Greenpeace have 2.8 million members worldwide.<br><br></div><div><br></div><div>Greenpeace’s opinion on sustainability is to stop using non-renewable resources and start using ones that can be renewed and don’t deplete at large speeds. <br><br></div><div><br></div><div>Greenpeace is largely involved in stopping companies from using palm oil in products such as: lipstick, chocolate, shampoo, margarine and soap.<br><br></div><div><br></div><div>They have had a positive impact on the environment because they’re working towards saving. It does have a bad impact on some parts of society because they’re affecting company’s income and stopping products from being made. <br><br></div><div><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Green Party<br></strong><br></div><div><strong> <br></strong><br></div><div><strong>The green party want to declare an environmental emergency. <br></strong><br></div><div><strong>13,065 (and counting)<br></strong><br></div><div><strong>Some of their policies on sustainability include a desire to make affordable, eco-friendly housing, as well as fossil fuel free energy.<br></strong><br></div><div><strong>I cannot find what they are funding, but it is likely something based around the eco-friendly housing and fossil fuel free energy.<br></strong><br></div><div><strong>Currently, the Green party have little power in Parliament, and thus haven’t done much. But local councils have made considerable changes on the local level, and they have raised a lot of awareness for issues surrounding the environment. <br></strong><br></div>]]></description>

Greenpeace has 2.8 million followers and supporters worldwide and national offices in 41 countries.

Greenpeace’s policies include:
Restoring degraded and eroded lands
Avoiding deforestation
Avoiding farming of peatlands
Bringing carbon back to soils
Offsetting emissions from fossil fuels

They rely on the funding from 3 million individual supporters and foundation grants.
All funding decisions are discussed and agreed be the board of trustees at regular meetings throughout the year.
