STEP 2: GRANTMAKING: OUTCOME #1

Outcome 1: the $325,000 budget can fund all Cohort requests.
PROCESS:
- facilitated consent round, no additional grantmaking is needed.

STEP 2: GRANTMAKING: OUTCOME #2

Outcome 2: some asks can be granted, but granting all asks as-is would push us over-budget.

PROCESS:
- Groups asking for less than an equal share of the fund, have their request fully funded; we suggest not reducing the share of asks that are under the equal amount.
- Groups asking for more than an equal share will engage in facilitated discussion and reflect on Funding Priorities to come to an agreement on grant amounts for remaining Cohort orgs.

How will we know if Outcome 1 or Outcome 2 will happen?

Darnell/Jazz will know the likelihood of Outcome 1 vs. Outcome 2 (and thus, can prepare accordingly) because we are receiving proposals ahead of the retreat.
