<title>I think I will try to use the protocols for analyzing graphs, data tables, and diagrams. I think I will have these posted on the tables/groups and on the wall, and gradually remove the scaffolds. I think these will work as a self assessment, as we already do low level observations of graphs. It also may be useful to do an entire stations activity in which they approach graphs, data tables, and diagrams and interpret them using the protocols so as to show consistency . This may be a good jumping off activity to check their ability to be consistent, and then to apply to a &quot;graph of the week&quot; or to data represented in the ESRT or on the Regents.</title>

<title>Today&#39;s discussion is a good reminder that consistency and practice of protocols is an important aspect in having students be more autonomous in knowing how to approach graphs/tables/diagrams/etc.</title>

<title>I would like to incorporate the protocols for interpreting graphs, diagrams, and data tables into my lessons. I think this empowers students as well as new teachers. I will share this with my 2nd year science teacher who I mentor.</title>
