I have seen globalization in my life by certain items in the grocery store being cheaper than others or products being marketed as “Made in America '' being almost double the price of the identical product right beside it. These cheaper prices are an advantage to lower income Americans that can find ways to get their groceries cheaper. They also help people to make more money and insure that people employed by the company keep their job and in turn are able to feed their families. However, the disadvantages are just as great. The impact of globalization brings cheaper items but can put human beings in harm's way if not regulated or policies introduced and enforced. Sweatshops are the main source of globalizations prosperity and profit raising strategy, employing children and paying little. Plus, the environmental impacts of money hungry business people who just want to keep their good social and economic status by sweeping things under the rug that can hurt people and the environment is another way that globalization can be harmful. But, I believe that with the right global leaders and negotiations, we could create a future where we have a global code of ethics for business practices.

Globalization has impacted my life by opening me up too much more inventory and many more accessories in life. It also has brought different types of types of clothing and food into my life as well. Some advantages to this are that we all in America get to try different things whether that be food, clothes, accessories, or something else. Another advantage is that getting products from other countries is that they are cheaper. A disadvantage is that sometimes getting products from other countries means you do not always know what you are going to get. So, it could increase the spread if diseases just from contact with the product.

Globalization has impacted me like most other people. It has allowed us to "choose" what we would like to obtain. We have large variety's or different options to choose from. Some of these things come at a lower cost and some at a higher, some made here and some made in other countries, some have been properly designed and some meet the bare minimum requirements. It is then left to us to decide which ones we choose. Some advantages would include the variety of things to try such as different foods. This could potentially give us the option to choose what we want to try. Another advantage would be the variety of prices since a lot of us are lower income and are not trying to spend a fortune on things. It also has made it convenient for us and most things we can get in an instance instead of having to wait for them. Some disadvantages would be not knowing what you are going to get if you do decide to order something or get it from somewhere else. This could be from food or even clothes sizing being off. You may also want to look out for regulations on these items as they are coming from somewhere else and may not follow the same guidelines as we do.
