         <title>Girls put lots of time and effort into looking &#39;desirable&#39; and if they preform well at that they gain status from their female peers. However this could bring conflict with the education system of they are breaking school dress codes and they would also be putting effort into how they look and not their work and as such could lead to underachieving </title>

Also they lower their aspirations, making them aim to be mothers and work locally to stay with their boyfriend. Pregnancy as a result of boyfriends can also hinder educational achievement as it often means they have to drop out of school.</div>]]></description>

Instead of focusing on their desires the w/c girls attempt to make the ideal relationship by conforming to the housewife role. whilst they might find comfort in this it drastically lowers their results. they no longer seek sufficient grades and they replace achievement with validation and self fulfilment </div>]]></description>
