The use of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) at SGH to handle administrative processes shows its potential as a tool to support us in streamlining our own workflows. In particular, RPA could be applied to take over repetitive and time-consuming tasks such as timetabling, exam seating planning, and other routine scheduling duties. This would not only free us from mundane work, but also allow us to focus more on higher-value tasks.

Through the visit to URA, we recognise the importance of engaging different stakeholders in comprehensive urban planning discussions that consider the broader impact of development on surrounding areas and communities. Our city today is the outcome of strategic, forward-looking vision, long-term and meticulous planning. Our students will be the ones who will be the drivers of growth in future. Hence, we may need to think about how we can continue to inculcate these positive attributes in our students through our various subjects, CCA and projects (especially where youths seem to favour short-term gratification and individualism these days).

With the affordances of AI, we see that private and government organisations are all leveraging on it. What we and our students will need to learn is how to leverage AI to help them in achieving the outcomes they envision (e.g., how to generate good ChatGPT/AI prompts, how to evaluate the accuracy of AI-generated responses).

Our students must learn to be flexible and have a positive learning attitude, to adapt to new technologies while keeping the purpose of their work in mind. Continuously upgrade themseleves and connect the tools at thier disposal to the products and services they are working on.
