It shows how exhausted she is of this happening, and how no matter where she is it simply won't stop. My favorite line in the poem was "It's not about feeling unready, it's about knowing that this doubt has already been confirmed". I like this line because it showing she has being thinking about it and it is not that she is not ready but has come to terms to her doubts about God.

I like the repetition in the beginning and end, I also think the message is super important. She talks about sexual harassment and how it happens everywhere no matter what. I think this is a common experience among many women that many people can relate to. The repetition she uses makes it clear how often it's happening to her and shows some of her emotion. In the middle she says "I should be used to it. I shouldn't get so angry..." which says a lot about how society treats sexual harassment., She feels she should be used to it and she shouldn't be angry, but the truth is she should be. It's not something you should pretend is okay, people should be treating this with more seriousness than they are. It's a terrible thing that's happening and her feelings are completely valid. When things like this happen, people blame it on the way you dress, you should not be blaming the victim. This poem also shows that it's not based on the way you dressed, it happens no matter what. It ends in "It simply never stops." and I think that's a good and strong way to end. I can relate to this poem because I have dealt with being catcalled and sexually harassed on the street by teenage men, but also grown men since I was a kid. This poem is a good representation on how women feel, and the challenges women face every day. It talks about the issues women face simply for being a woman. I like the repetition "it happens when I'm" because it shows how doing daily tasks we are still constantly harassed. With the repetition and the video, it also shows how exhausting being sexually harassed is. I relate to the part "To grab my notebook, and write, and write, and write all the things I wish I could've said." I relate to this because I journal a lot about everything that happens in my life, every big and small event. I may not say it out loud, but I'll write it in my journal and keep everything bottled up. I find the message the poem is telling is important, and I enjoyed the retelling used in the beginning and end.  The poem addresses the issue of sexual harassment and highlights its influence it has on many people. This is a shared experience among many women, and it can be related to a  wide audience. The retelling effectively highlights the frequency of the poet's personal encounters with harassment and her emotions.
