All Christians believe in eternal life, although not all believe in heaven, hell, or purgatory. Those who go to heaven repented their sins, those who go to hell are sinful and will suffer, and those w ho go to purgatory will get their souls cleansed. The anointing of the sick is when a sick or ill person asks for forgiveness. In some countries people have a wake or a time of mourning before the funeral. In the funeral there are usually speeches and prayers.
