Then I dragged the portrait of myself over to the background picture, transforming the face to fit the original picture. Adjusting the the tones to blend the skin tones together. Changing the opacity to around 70-80% so you could see through it. Then using the masking layer, "deleting" the unwanted surface area of the portrait and erase to match with the original picture.
