· How does it feel to be the parent of your child?
I love being the mother of Chloe. She constantly shows me love and is such an amazing child. Although she has anxiety, she is still a great daughter inside and out. I love her to the moon and back and I am happy that I can be there for her when she needs me.

· How is your child developmentally the same and different from other children at the various ages?
Even though Chloe has anxiety, she is still academically successful. She enjoys school very much and has learned that some people may need to work harder at school than others. She has developed at the same rate of her peers and enjoys partaking in activities with her classmates such as playing soccer and handball. The main differences that I have seen between her and her peers is that she has always been hard on herself to the extent that others are aware of her struggles.

· What professionals or agencies do you deal with? What services are available to you and your child?
Chloe goes to therapy at Kaiser twice a month. She has gone there for the past year and I have seen major improvement. The therapist has suggested many coping strategies and relaxing techniques for her to do when feeling anxious. We often practice the techniques together at home.
I myself go to therapy so that I can learn better ways to help Chloe. Also, I sometimes sit with Chloe during her therapy sessions.

· How did you find out about the above services?
I found out that therapy was available through Kaiser from Chloe's pediatrician. Chloe has had the same pediatrician her whole life and Dr. Ozzo suggested therapy as a way to help with Chloe's anxiety.

· What financial burden, if any, are you experiencing?
Currently, we are not facing any financial burdens. I am very grateful to have medical insurance so that therapy visits are covered.

· What other information do you want to share?
Something to share with others is that the best thing to do when helping a child with anxiety is to keep calm yourself. Children feed off of energy; stressing out while helping your anxious child will do more harm for the child.
