         <description><![CDATA[<div>The bison or the buffalo once roamed on the land of the great plains. They were something the plains people used in every day life. They used every part of the bison from the hide for teepees to the tendons for sinew or string to the bladder for holding water. They ate buffalo and made tools with it's bones. without the buffalo they would have lived very differently. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>For housing the plains people, they  made teepees because they were easily set up and taken down when they had to move in order to hunt bison. These teepees are made by putting up a wood frame, then putting buffalo hide around the frame. The hides are tied to the frame with sinew which is made from buffalo tendons <br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The woods people made wigwams with a wooden frame, they tied a wooden skirt to the bottom part of the wigwam and birch bark over the rest of it, the wooden skirt would let a little bit of wind in so it wouldn't get too hot. The birch bark was to shelter them.</div>]]></description>

The snare would grab the animal and dangle it until they went to check the snare. Another trap they would set was a hole trap with sticks and leaves covering a hole with bait on the top, when the animal went for the bait they would fall in the hole</div>]]></description>
