You start in nursery school the month you turn three, so it’s like a kindergarten. You start in primary school when you are 4-5 years old. The year you turn 11 or 12 you start in secondary school. You have 4 compulsory years in secondary school and 2 years there is optional. You stop at secondary school when you are 16-18 years old. When the students turn 16 they can choose to leave or to stay at school and study for a higher exam or advanced higher exam.

They have a lot of the same animals as we have here in Denmark. Scotland is a stronghold for the Eurasian otter which can be spotted right across the country in freshwater rivers, canals and marshes, as well as in the sea. The harbour or common seal is a popular sight in the sheltered waters around Scotland's coast. They feed on everything from sandeels to herring and can usually be seen on the rocky outcrops of the west coast or on sandbanks and around estuaries.
