What classroom challenges do I already face or do I anticipate facing when using tablets?

It's a systematic work. At the beginning we should answer to the question Why and what we want to receive at the end. So we start from vision through strategy to implementation. And the first step - professional development for teachers.

Challenges give students more responsibilities and independence. They must have choices to work the way they want to solve a problem.

Learning Scenarios

I and my colleagues never used the term 'learning scenarios'. But if we defined it as vision we used it. It helps me connect pedagogical approach, technology and content. For example, I choose the set lessons and suggested to my students create artefact.

It may be the poster, the video, the article according the topic. I've used OneNote tool because it is a mirror of learning process, on my opinion. i created for every student separately pages where they may share your own ideas, thoughts etc.

What kind of content can you produce with your class?

I've organized a project Art Project BOOM. One learning activity was a creating video using iMovies. During the project my class invited the smallest students to visit Elisavetgrad Gallery where we discussed the objects of art. Students snapped the photos and after created the video.

Forming Groups for Group Work

We work in groups every lesson. And my students try to choice the partners 'more stronger" than they. So I prefer to used the next methods, such as

- count. One, two, three, four. It depends how many groups I need.

- sweets. I bring the different sets of sweets, separate them and students should take one from them. So we have a group of cherry sweets etc.

- colour. Students tell their favourite colour and we organize the groups "red', "yellow" etc.

The flipped classroom model changes the culture of learning. It needs a time to prepare teachers, students and their parents. This is our common work. If we reach understanding we will et a result.

Flipping the Classroom

I've tried the flipped classroom model. Students watched a video trailer at home and I've sent them a task using Vocaroo. At the lesson they created treir own The Lost Thing and explained their drawings using Chirbit. We collected all materials and presented them on Blogspot. Finally we wrote the letter to Shaun Tan, the author "The Lost Thing".

Assessment & Collaboration

First of all I discussed the topic and learning activity with my colleague. We defined the main questions and what we would create during our meeting via Skype, for example. Sometimes we have a lack of equipments.

Learning Styles of your Students

In my opinion, we should be the psychologists. We keep in mind the learning styles, the temperaments of our students, level of their knowledge, the age, etc. In ideal case teacher works with psychologist in order to define the best way for creating learning enviroment for every child. One of the method for establishing the dominance profile are defined by Carla Hannaford. And our students should be yourselves, feel independence and autonomy but be accounted.

Challenges of Collaborative Work

I've organized some projects during school year. This encourage students creativity and develop their critical thinking skills. The first, we discussed the consept of our project with my students, defined our researches. Children choose their roles and started to work. I've asked them: What did you know? What was a new for you? We organized the discussions, the debates etc. Students wrote the diaries or made the notes. Some questions may be specific, for example, What problem did you try to decide? And what way? Some children built the mindmapping organizer. But the most hard project was our Multi-projects because I've created it based on my students' hobbies. We built a model where mixed students' competencies, learning and real life.
