We also know that the friar is in on this plan, so the audience isn't really emotional during this scene. If anything, it might be funny to them seeing the family freak out over nothing.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The reaction from Juliet's parents was what I expected because even though we know in the last scene they disowned her after she refused to marry Paris, readers have to take in the account that they knew her reaction was a bit out of place and that people can say things out of the feelings they feel at the moment and not how they always feel. Of course, parents don't always mean what they say when they're arguing with their children, but at the end of the day all Juliet's parents wanted for Juliet was for her to be safe, secure, and to have a happy life, showing that they cared for her deeply. </div>]]></description>
