James I (1603-1625)

I am King James I, and I was the first puritan King of England, I took over from the great Queen Elizabeth. I was the first King to translate the bible into English, and called it the King James Bible. I was honored to be the King who founded one of the most prominate settlements in the newly acquired lands of America. I named it James town.

Charles I (1625-1649)

I am King Charles I, and I believed in the divine right of Kings, I also had struggles with the Parliament over taxation, religion, and governance. My feud with the Parliament led me to dissolving the governed body without their permission, and that caused the English Civil War in 1642. My forces were called the Royalist, and Cavaliers. The other side was lead by Oliver Cromwell, and later on James I excuted for treason.

Oliver Cromwell (1649-1658)

I am King Oliver Cromwell, and I was emerged as a military leader during the English Civil War. I turned out to be a Puritan Army General because of how good my success was in the Civil War, then later on I was crowned the Lord Protector, then I ruled England till my death in 1658. I changed the government by abolishing the monarchy and then I established Commonwealth. I was also part of the execution of James I.

I am King Charles II, and I had a very rough era during the Cromwell rule. I was exiled to France by Cromwell because he thought I was a threat to the throne. Once Cromwell died, I returned to England and restored the Monarchy, during this era it was down as the restoration era. I sought to heal the wounds left by the civil war, so we could have peace.

I am the Roman Catholic brother of Charles II, Since Charles II had 12 children, I would be the last Roman Catholic King of England, Ireland, and also Scotland. I faced a lot of challenges regarding religion, Since it was challenges due to religion, and more the Glorious Revolution of England started. I was overthrown very peacefully, and had a solid foundation for the English Bill of Rights.

William& Mary (1688-1702)

I am Mary, The daughter of King James II I was raised Protestant, other than my father. I ended up marrying my first cousin William a Protestant Dutch Prince. When They overthrowned James II, they asked me and William to rule together, our rule had began the consitutional Monarchy in England. Were known for passing the Bill of Rights in 1689, and that led to the official limited the monarchy.
