In the story of exodus, you could see Realpolitik through the tyranny of the Pharaoh who ordered the death of all male Hebrew infants. You could also see how he ruled over his people through power, fear, and slavery especially over the Hebrews.

Now Realpolitik is present in the Philippines society in the presence of President Duterte. He rules our nation with the focus on the drug war and how power reigns supreme. He created his platform by bringing people to rally agaisnt a common threat which drugs and the drug users.

Religion does not conform to the teachings and ideas of Realpolitik in a sense that religion does not follow a hierarchy of power, but instead it follows a structure not based on power.

This is because Moses grew up in a realpolitik society; hence, he only knows the survival of the fittest or the ideology of running away after failing or afraid of commitment.

Presently, it is evident in our impulsive decisions in life. For instance, when we decide something we do not critically think of, we tend to find practical means to accomplish our desired goal. When this fails, we tend to run away or make excuses for our actions instead of considering the ideologies behind the situation.
