I know that they give me free will on what I want to do or pursue, so I don't feel pressure from them to do something that I don't actually want to do. At the same time, I feel like they give me proper guidance on what I can be doing to be a better version of myself, and I really appreciate that and love the support that I get. The relationship I have with my mom is definitely strongest, and I feel really grateful that she is so interested in my life and helping me navigate high school and, eventually, college. I know that I can count on my mom to be straightforward with me and tell me when I'm wrong. Another thing that I really love about my parents is that I don't get handouts. They don't spoil me and make me learn the values of hardwork that I need for life.
